Recent threads on Emergency Road Service:

1. Good Sams ERS
Notice: For those who have their HDT conversions registered through an LLC it's been reported by member Mad-Dog that Good Sams ERS Will Not Cover Your HDT conversion or 5er if your rig is registered through an LLC.

2. Coach-Net ERS
Per a post by a Coach-Net representative and by a forum member, Coach-Net now offer ERS to HDT owners who have their HDT's registered through an LLC even if your truck has not been singled as long as you opt for their Platinum Plan.

Note:

American Modern Insurance Group policies written through Garden City Insurance offers full ERS coverage for HDT's through CoachNet even if your registered through an LLC for $38.00 per year per unit "HDT/5er would = $76.00 TTL per year" as an add on to the Insurance policy. They also offer a Mexico ERS policy through AMIG.

The HDT and 5er must both be insured through AMIG in order to qualify for CoachNet ERS service.  This information has been confirmed by another forum member who is insured through GCI.

3. ERS Via Your Progressive Insurance Policies

If your truck and 5th-Wheel are insured with Progressive Insurance Company you can get ERS Coverage as part of your policy on both your truck and 5th-Wheel for an additional $35.00 a year per unit.

BTW, there is no Out of Pocket Break Down Expense to you when you use this service.  (Just Sign and Drive)

4. ERS Via Your National Interstate Insurance Policies

If your truck and 5er are insured with National Interstate Insurance Specialists you can get ERS Coverage as part of your policy.

I've read where the coverage is $50.00 a year but I cannot say if that covers just the truck or the 5th-Wheel as well.

BTW, there is no Out of Pocket Break Down Expense to you when you use this service.  (Just Sign and Drive)

5. USRider Motor Plan ERS

Escapees member Greyhorse uses this company to cover his MDT and Equestrian Trailer and stated in a post in the HDT forum that he is pleased with their service and he believes they would cover RV'ers as long as you don't use your rig for commercial purposes.

6. RV Roadhelp ERS thru Allstate Ins Co:

At least one forum member has reported having RV Roadhelp ERS on his HDT although I'm not sure if they will cover your toter if your registered through an LLC.  It's also been reported that you do not have to be insured through Allstate to sign up for RV Roadhelp Motor Club ERS.

Note:

If your opt for this coverage and your not insured through Allstate already be sure and sign up for ERS coverage for Motor Homes and not for an HDT as they will decline the coverage as a stand alone policy.
