I just signed up with Coach-Net for their "Platinum Plus".  I then went to the "members area" of their web site.  There was a space for "vehicle information."  To add this info you must call them.  I called and advised her that I had a "Volvo motorhome" that I used to pull my travel trailer.  She asked what sort of "motorhome."  I advised her that it was an HDT that had been converted to tow recreational trailers.  She then asked if it had dual rear axles since Coach-Net did not cover HDT's that were dual axle.  I advised her that BART had a single axle rear end and she said that was fine.

I am posting this just to be informative, not to start a debate.  Since I am singled I didn't think to ask about how my Bro-in-law could cover his Fleetwood since it has 3 axles.  I would imagine it is simply the HDT thing to avoid people with OTR tractors trying to get cheap roadside coverage, but that is only a guess.

AHHHHH too bad on the tandem deal don't have my HDT yet but have several reasons for staying tandem when I do.  My existing roadside is do to expire by next June.  Was going to change to Coach Net guess will have to look elsewhere now.

Thanks for the information will start looking while I have time

I've talked to Coach-Net, they have covered me on several calls, don't recall them ever mentioning the tandem rear axle issue; currently, our C-N coverage is thru National Interstate and it covers both the truck and trailer on ERS issues.  Just saying, they don't seem concerned about it when a service call is placed, maybe it's just different agents doing the enrollment process(?!).

I sent an email to their customer service asking for clarification.  I got a canned return email that this person was out of the office December 13 and 14 but would be back on December 15.  HHMMMM I sure hope that does not happen when one of us need help.  I am joking guys ok!!!  I will wait to the first of the New Year and if have not heard anything try again

Any such restrictions to your knowledge with Good Sam roadside service?

We have Good Sam ERS for our HDT that is tandem.  The call center people are a friendly lot but not the swiftest intellectually.  I find it easier to use a good truck-stop guide, tell them who to call for us to get service, and follow up with them.  Have not had a problem when I do that.
